Nice

Very nice music, I agree with you on the idea on being a main menu song, but I would drop the 'silly'. :D Nice chord progressions and a relaxing melody.

Btw, great title! ;D

Another review, huh..you really have reviewed everything!
Thanks again, I really appreciate it :D

Ireviewable review

Cool stuff, good melody, but I think that it was a bit repetitive after some time. Nice twist at 1:35, really made a significant change to the feel of the song. The ending was great, with the wind-bell like sounds.

The melody reminded me of some video game song, but I just can't put my finger on which one it was. It felt to me as though it could be a background in a movie scene where the main character is having some serious doubts over something.

Great stuff!

alternativesolution responds:

I didn't exactly have a melody in mind, actually. I just put stuff together. But a video game song? I have no clue.. o.o
I get the character thing, though. Thanks again! :D

Cool celtic feel

Good 'Irish drinking song' kind of feel, but I think you should have gone for a violin melody if you were aiming for an Irish feel. If I may notice, you have quite a tendency of repeating the same note or chord a few times in a row. But hey, if it works for the idea you had, who are we to judge? XD

alternativesolution responds:

I didn't have any good violin sounds at the time D:
And actually, I wasn't aiming for the Irish feel until I realized it was St. Patrick's Day. So I re-listened to it (being an older piece) and thought it would be suitable :D
Of course, if it wasn't for that cello, this would sound very different :|

Beautiful!

Such a relaxing song with beautiful melodies. It really creates an atmosphere and feeling of being at sea. On a giant rubber boot, fishing for apricots. XD Loved the guitar melodic line, and when you put in the bass it gave me the feeling of an ending song for some a bit more serious submission.

Great song, listened to it 6 times in a row, made me a bit drowsy. Definitely good favorites material!

alternativesolution responds:

Fishing for apricots on a giant rubber boot? An odd image, I must say.
Cool :D I'm glad you liked it so much.
There was a certain pattern to the bass...Ending song, eh? I agree.
And wow..have you reviewed ALL my songs? :O

Unexpected

I must say I never thought that the guitar would go that way, it was an interesting twist on a melody which was to be expected for the continuation of the song. A bit psychedelic, but with a nice violin melody and cool atmosphere. If I had to object, it would be about the cut-out sound of the violin at the beginning, unless that's what you were aiming for.

Really cool song, liked it!

alternativesolution responds:

I was aiming for a funky twist with a blend of instruments that would all do their own thing :P
Thanks again!

Interesting development

At first, I didn't think it could develop into more of a melody with a simple start like that, but you succeeded! The drums were great, but I think the bass was a bit too loud or had too much... well, bass. :D Loved the sound at the beginning (UFO?)

Possibly background music for a somewhat futuristic movie or game? It gave me that sort of impression. To tell you the truth, when the synths came in, the first thing that came to my mind was 'What Is Love?' for some reason.

Bottom line- good song, very dancefloorcharty (yay, new adjective).

alternativesolution responds:

What is Love? Haha :P
The bass is loud after the last chorus, but if you hear it boom any other place than that, then that was totally intentional :P

Relaxing

Hey, this song is really good! The piano arpeggios were very nice, and when the drums came in, it was just amazing! Very cool melodies with great relation between the two lines. The ending was interesting, because I really didn't expect the reversed notes in the ending of a song like this one. Quite original.

If I had to put this in a game, I would probably go for a puzzle game or any game that requires some thinking. because it provides just the amount of chill to prevent your brain from melting during difficult tasks. XD

Anyway, great song!

alternativesolution responds:

Hey thanks! :D

Chill out

Really cool song, especially considering the use of preset loops. I agree about the 'walk in the park' feeling, it really does create that impression. Anyway, really nice stuff to chill-out to!

Btw, if you like stuff like this, check out my latest song. (yes, I am a self-advertising dumbass XD)

bevermaly responds:

Hmm.. I have a feeling I should change the title of the song if everyone starts thinking its more of a walk in the park type of song. Anyways thanks for the review and I'll go check your stuff out right now! (I don't mind self advertising dumbasses xD)

Okay

Not exactly my style of music, but I found it relaxing. I don't think it's important to understand the lyrics (besides, you DID post them in the comment :D), I thought the vocals were actually an interesting part of the song. The Percussions were OK, but I found the melody to be a tad over-repeating. I found the idea of a horny robot funny for some reason. XD

P.S. Gave you a 5 score rating to help a bit with your 0-bomber problem, it isn't much but...

Syntrus responds:

Hey thx dude zooming over to your page now!

Really groovy

Great song, loved the sound of the guitar and the rock organ. Very funky, cool shaker-like hi-hat sound. Nice job.

vai90 responds:

Awesome review! =)
Thx.

I write music. You listen to music. What a strange coincidence, isn't it?
